To be honest, Mia, it feels a lot like a nightmare. I want to thing of something... some way to turn this all around... but for once, I can't think of anything useful.
I don't want to accept that either, Mia. Believe me. [Even though she seems to be as lost as he is, he does feel kind of sad and lowly to face his young mentor with no plan up his sleeve.]
We already lost at least one innocent... [The metaphorical jury is still out on whatever the hell Simon Keyes's deal was.] I want to do everything in my power to make sure we don't lose anymore.
So far, it has seemed like everyone here has been involved in at least one murder case. Our "host" seems fixated on it as well. The information may be relevant, and I'm sure you can understand why I won't be asking Maya.
You did your best to collect leads on him and a list of the people he had blackmailed. You were preparing a case against him. But...
It happened in 2016. Just a month after you oversaw my first trial as an attorney. White bugged your phone and found out where you were hiding your evidence. So, he... he broke into the office, stole that object and- and-
[He can't look her in the eyes - while saying it; so he turns away.]
Thanks. I- I hoped it helped. [Maybe he's a little relieved not to have to summarize Maya and his grief... And how he needed her to come back from the dead to literally tell him to flip over a piece of paper]
As for that team... I can't say that I have the best read on them just yet. Out of the current suspects, Mr. Shields is the only one whom I haven't known prior to this ordeal. But from what I understand, he's a defense attorney with the Edgeworth Law Offices... as in Gregory Edgeworth. He seems to be a respectable man, if crazy for hugs.
And Aura Blackquill... She is a complicated case. I know that she's someone who can care fiercely for others, and she's broken the law for people she's cared about in the past. But... I don't know if she would really have it in her to take lives.

Um... Is that all you had to say?

No matter how you slice it, we're in a tough spot. I'd like to hear what you think of the setup?

I just can't accept that there isn't a way out of this. There are too many innocent people in here to give up.

...Alright, Mia. I'll tell you.
Do you already know who Redd White is?

he bludgeoned you with it, over the head.

That's enough. I don't need more details than that.

Have you gotten a good read on the team besides my own and Mr Armando's in the clue yet?
